Summary: Steph and Gamzee invite everyone to a picnic! Threadjacking and mingling is ENCOURAGED!

Hana picked his way through some brush by the stream, nosing at the vegetation and apparently completely unperturbed by the gathering picnic. The nubs of velvet atop his head were somewhat silly looking in their still-developing state, but if nothing else? They finally made his gender clear to the casual onlooker.

The deer's presence meant Shikamaru must've been around somewhere, but he has yet to join in any of the attempted festivities.

... Which means he was probably napping in a corner somewhere.

And a bit later, after Equius tired of the awful filth that showed up to this event, (s)he retired to sulk off at the edges of the gathering, hoping to chat more with Gamzee later when it quieted down. In the meantime, at least there was interesting fauna to watch, she supposed.

Hana slowly worked his way along the edge of the water, occasionally dipping his head to drink. The water in the biodome was almost always clean, usually preferable to that strange-tasting stuff that all the humans drank out of their bottles.

While he wasn't bothered by the picnic, large gatherings of people did usually mean there would be food in the general vicinity. Food that people might share with him if he was lucky, and so Hana ambled closer to the edges of the party, curiously surveying those nearest to him.

Blink. Blink.

All Equius has with her are a couple food bars stuffed into a pocket for later. Still, she's seen Shikamaru feed the deer. How hard can it be? The animal seems very tame compared to Alternian beasts - it's not a musclebeast that would try to devour him (or worse? Equius isn't sure if the magnificent artwork she used to own was true to life or not.)

Equius pulls one out of his pocket, wrapper crinkling as she does so.

Rose figured there were more important things to do than arguing over the network with other people about issues of semantics and meaning, and trotted over to the picnic with knitting and violin ready. He really would have to organize a concert at some point.

In any case, Rose settled down next to Jade and John in good grace. "How are you two doing in each others' bodies?"

Tsubaki didn't have much to add to the picnic that she saw posted on the network, but she did have a bag of candy in hand when she showed up. And stared at the masses that had gathered. "Oh, wow."

Steph was trying her hardest to greet each newcomer to the massive picnic, but it was difficult to make sure she spoke to everyone. The genderswapping wasn't helping the whole facial recognition thing either, but she did manage to wave in Tsubaki's direction before making her way over.

TenSoon wandered over to the large gathering, looking in interest at the changes wrought among the crowd. There was food around and while none of it was as lovely as his perfectly-rotted spider meat, he still wanted to see what he could get.

There were a few half eaten food bars beside Steph, just lying on the grass. They had been forgotten among all the conversation.

In fact... it seemed as though no one was paying attention to the abandoned food.

Unwrapped food bars were always a bonus for someone without opposable thumb, so TenSoon sat down beside Stephanie and helped himself.

Steph turned to greet whoever had just sat down beside her, not expecting a dog.

"Awwwwh! Puppy!" She smiled and slowly moved her hand near its nose, "Big puppy." She corrected herself. How had she not noticed a dog this big running around the facility before?
