Well, this was certainly new. It wasn't every day that bullshit red, stuff, just flashes out of nowhere and surrounds an entire area. It also wasn't every day that little girls with spears jump in front of him.

Alex for his part managed to keep the slight surprise out of his expression as he crossed his arms and glared at the girl. This had to be a joke, what could a spear possibly do against him?

... he had not just thought that.

He had not just assumed that a quite possibly magic-inclined person would be a joke, a zero threat, and invoked Murphy's Law on himself.

The appropriate amount of annoyance settled in as he sighed, this was going to be a pain.

"Listen kid, I have no idea who you are, who you're talking about, or what your problem is. But I can tell you're about to do something extremely stupid, so lets put the spear away before you do something regretful. I'm only going to ask once."

That spurs a laugh out of her. A crazed, crazed laugh.

"Oh, I'm afraid you're the stupid one, Alex Mercer."

How many of those people were obviously insane children though, he wasn't exactly sure. Hopefully she wouldn't actually try anything, he didn't like killing kids, his cut off age was generally fifteen for a reason. He had standards damn it!

"Most of them also know not to try anything with me, unless their new or insane. So either you've heard about me second hand and someone left out important details, or you just met up with clown boy. Either way kiddo, you're way out your league here."

"Oh, no. You took out my chief gatekeeper and my best friend, who's a top of her class witch. I have no doubts you're pretty strong."

She flips the spear over her head.

"Critical - Heartbreaker."

The spear glows a bright red and immediately comes shooting at him.
