[ Dave didn't really give two shits about the auction. Yeah, the food would've been a plus, but he has his own stash of goodies. What else did he need?

Well. Company, maybe. Crowen wasn't a good substitute for human contact. He stopped on his way back to his room and looked towards the girls' just in time to hear the smack.

The hell was that about? Dave slowly opened their door and leaned in. ]

[ THWAP. It bounced right off the middle of his forehead before skittering across the floor.

But since a pen to the head doesn't really hurt he ain't too bothered. It's left a red splotch behind but he hasn't noticed that quite yet. ]

It's silly. I'm just kind of sad that I didn't get to eat good food. [ Her stomach rumbles. ] Sorry about the marker spot.
