[ Uuuugh waking up is hard, Jade. It takes several fingerpokes to make Dave stir. His shades are lopsided and have made a lovely indent in the side of his head. One eye is therefore visible and it opens slowly, blinking blearily as he tries to figure out where he is.

Once the post-nap confusion fades he fixes his shades and rolls over. ]

[ Aaaand the blanket's going over his head. ]

[ For a brief moment, she stops her poking barrage to take in the fact that she's pretty sure this is the first time she's ever seen Dave's eyes. Even briefly, this is a momentous occasion.

They're a really pretty red. ]

[ Okay moment over. She flops on top of him, trying to simultaneously peel his sunglasses off and wake him up. ]

I wanted to ask you a question.

Dave wiggles underneath her but it's pretty half-assed. He's more focused on protecting his shades, but he can't even manage that. NAKED EEEEYES ]

[ The wiggling has become more serious as he tries to roll over again, but there is a stubborn weight he cannot dislodge. This... is kind of embarrassing. ]

[ She takes a moment to revel in the fact that she holds his sunglasses in her hands. ]

Sorry. But your eyes are pretty.

[ She places the sunglasses back on his face. Moment over again. ]
