Aziraphael is outside the bar, enjoying the early spring sunshine and the smell of outdoors that's never quite the same in London, no matter the size of the parks. the weather here is atrocious. Worse even than London, I suspect; I shall have to hunt out that coat I wore overmuch in the '50s, perhaps.

Business is pressing, 'though rather less tiring than of late, and I shall be back tomorrow without question. I look forward to it.

A bookshop is rather like a library, and really ought to be quiet - occasionally a little gentle classical music is permitted, if the angel's feeling chipper, but for the most part silence reigns, bar the occasional papery rustlings that mark the presence of interlopers.
