Yo, infinity and black holes are totally the best part of astronomy! They're so fucking mind-bendingly awesome!
Plus, according to my astronomy teacher, the sun will have changed enough in the next 500 million years or so that life on Earth will become impossible. I don't remember if that's the point at which the sun will expand to the point that it will be larger than our orbit, engulfing us in flames, or the point before that when we'll burn to a crisp from our proximity to the sun. It's pretty fucking cool, since I don't have to be around for it.
Also, fucking stars are like alchemists! The universe only used to have Hydrogen, then stars made it into other shit. That's amazing.
I also enjoy astronomy, except for the part where I have to take tests.
