whenever i tell people i'm broke, i get one of two reactions. people either A) laugh hysterically and proceed to slap me on the back (or arm, whichever ones closer) and act like i've made the biggest joke in the entire world or B) they stare at me blankly for a while and THEN get on to reaction A
