For the past 3 years I have been secretly involved with the furry fandom. I didn’t even tell Fern at first, but she quickly found out. We go to cons under false pretenses to our loved ones and we hide our art and our fur. Fern and I could not even get our stories straight between our respective families. Hers thought we were going camping and mine

Most of my family still has no idea and Ive been in the fandom since 98. They just think I go out with friends from online and meet up at silly conventions and we all dress up in fun costumes, and have a grand ol' time.
