I'm still relatively new to Mayfield, so you must forgive my ignorance, but what does all of this mean?

Sometimes, when the town sends us somewhere different or something really bad starts to happen, we find... these clues that people have left around this world. They suggested a lot of things, but I asked Miss Samantha last night, and she seemed to say that what I was suggesting was true.

What it might mean is that this town isn't real. It's in our heads, or maybe we're even a part of it, and we're fake, too. That's why we can die and still come back, why damage to the houses are fixed so easily, and why we can be droned.

No matter what it is, it seems like he needs us here. If that's the case, then I don't know why he drones us after a while...

I... I'm not really smart enough to piece everything together, but I think... I think Westport was real. Westport was another town where they tried out the simulation, but I think, somehow, it must have failed. And then the haz-mats took over...

Does that make sense, do you think?

I guess so! Besides, the town may be fake but we may really be trapped here physically. If we were just mentally taken, it wouldn't make sense with conflicting timelines...

How could I talk with someone that is alive right as we speak but he's from the past? I would have noticed if he was trapped in this town for months. If we're truly living out in agony, what are our real bodies doing?
