[So. Edgeworth has had a rough couple of weeks. First, Wright became a drone. He's still half hoping he'll snap out of it, but it's looking less likely by the day. Then the infections. And the vaccine. And his not-son's death. Even though he had barely talked to the kid, he knew how attached Ken was to him... And he blames himself for allowing the ( Read more... )

You chose to take the vaccine, but you are still experiencing symptoms?

Yes. Obviously it's dangerous and does not work.

Hmph. As I suspected.

I have not allowed myself to be vaccinated, and have been displaying symptoms, as well. However, mine are far less severe.

Yes, it seems that the effects of the vaccine are random. At worst, it's lethal. At best... well, there's no proof that any of it works.

[at the sound of more coughing Iris is there with.. more soup or something. ffff she has pretty much been up all night flitting between Ken, Edgeworth, and the kitchen, so she's just tired]

Ah, I'm fine. There's no need to strain yourself, especially if you think you might be coming down with it, too.

...Besides, I'm sure Ken needs your attention more than I do.

[she shakes her head, offering a weak smile] I feel fine... I just want to do everything I can.

Ken... [she looks over her shoulder, up at his room] I hope he'll be okay.

We don't need you getting sick, either. [He totally feels like he's making you do all the work. And is just sitting here. Being a blob.]

Ken is... Well. I'm sure he'll be able to pull through... [Hopefully. Eventually.]

Some of the vaccines are safe.

I'm sorry, Edgeworth. How is Iris?

I believe she's doing all right, unlike the other members of our "family".

That's up to you. I got luck and am fine.

That's good to hear about Iris though. At least she'll be able to take care of you.

I suppose I was one of the unlucky ones, then. Though not as unlucky as some.

...She works very hard. She really shouldn't feel so obligated..

Erm, no. It seems most people in town are ill, at the moment, though.

Did you allow them to give you a vaccine?

I didn't have much of a choice. Although, I wouldn't have imagined that they would purposefully poison people with the vaccine.
