Show is crazy. I totally missed the Larson connection even though Jesse is on the show. Bad me. Apparently he even has a rent poster on his office wall. Oh and Karen leading the director on and then not sleep with him. Really?! I did have to cheer ivy on when she told him that he would always have a Karen. Word.

It's not the worst show on tv, but boy does it get a bad wrap. Have you seen the old creator/writer's victory lap? She is enjoying the shows demise a lot!

Ummm... you must be very tired to miss the Larson thing. And the Rent poster was front and center for a few scenes. It does get a bad wrap. I read EW talking about it and basically saying if they had played to their key audience instead of trying to get non-theater types interested, it would have been a much better show. I haven't seen the thing with the original creator, but I don't know that she should be taking much of a victory lap. Ellis ring a bell? Ugh.

I did buy the soundtrack for the mythical Bombshell and I definitely enjoy the songs. Not the covers, but the new stuff. At least they got some good music out of the thing. How long until someone decides to actually bring Bombshell to Broadway, do you think? They will turn just about anything into a musical nowadays and the songs are already written.... Seems like easy pickins'.

So, so tired. Totally missed it until I read the recap. Bad, bad Maria.

The characterization has been all over the place, but the singing is good, the sets are good and they do put some effort into it. It certainly isn't any worse than Chicago fire.

The songs for bombshell are good. The original idea was always to take it to broadway, it was how they sold it to Spielberg.

Wow. There's a mess of crazy going on there, huh? So, was this all just one big advertising campaign for a future Broadway show starring Megan Hilty? And will she be naked? Hmm....
