"You know what else isn't cool?" Greg Sanders replied, grinning at her as he drummed his fingers on the desk. "Doc Robbins' vegan pie. I just got attacked with some." He wrinkled his nose. "Not to mention singing Christmas carols at inappropriate times. Happy Turkey Day to you too, Ang."

David came back into the lab, still feeling distinctly ill from all the hot dogs he'd had to dig out of the deceased's stomach contents. He really hated hot dogs. He looked at Greg, seeing him first, and sent him a small smile.

Angie was there and he almost couldn't contain his happiness at seeing her. "Hey, Angie!" He hoped that whatever it was that was making her scarce they could talk about. He missed her.

Silently Reading a file while walking past the lab Warrick was slightly disturbed from his reading by an all to familiar outburst of "Hey, Angie". Hearing this he closed the folder the file was in while turning to see Hodges, Angie and Greg. "Why hello everyone, is everyone having a good Thanksgiving so far? O and by the way Happy Thanksgiving to all as well why we are speaking of which."

Nick yawned walking towards the DNA lab. He had just gotten back from a crime scene and had a few samples to give Angie. He reached the lab and walked inside to find Greg, Warrick and Hodges there as well.
"We having a party?" He asked holding out the small plastic bags for Angie to take.

Angie grinned slyly as Greg walked in, "Well, technically, since Thanksgiving Day is over. As it is 12:01, it's the Christmas season. So it's completely founded that I'm able to sing Christmas songs."

She looked up as another familar face walked in, "Hey, David." She spoke a bit softer now, a grin crossed her face. "You smell like hotdogs."

As Warrick walked into the room she raised a brow, "It must be my lucky day. All these handsome men in my lab at one time. Guess I really should be giving thanks."

Angie grinned slyly as Nick walked in the room, "Good lord. I guess we are, Nick." She took the bags from him, signing off on them. "Thanks, I know when I'm loved. The only time you stop in is to give me more work to do."

She sighed, taking a breath after barely having a moment to regroup and acknowledge each person with the usual cheerfulness she tried to meet each person with. "Alright, so if y'all aren't busy with, your significant others tonight, you are more than welcome to come over to my place for a late Thanksgiving dinner."

David cringed at the hot dogs remark. The smell of the things made him sick, and he'd never dug so many of the things out of one stomach before. The thought was enough to make him want to vomit. "Thanks, hon. I appreciate you pointing that out."

David was wondering what was going on lately. He had the impression that she was avoiding him, and Grissom kept giving him strange looks, asking him questions. He'd hoped to get her alone, but it seemed as if everytime he tried, she got company. "Dinner sounds good to me? Guys?"

Nick was about to tell her he had other plans, when he realized for the first time in years he hadn't made plans for Thanksgiving. He had just assumed he would spend it with Greg. He cast a glance towards the younger man, waiting to see what he was going to say.

"Sure, sounds good to me seeing as I usaly spend Thanksgiving alone. Altho i allready bought a Butterball Smoked turkey, you know the ones you can eitehr microwave for like 19 minutes or put in the oven for 30 minutes, think i can bring that along?"

"And with such a nice comment about being handsome, I may even bring something special that I can make pretty well."

Angie nodded slightly towards David, taking her hand back as he released it. Feeling slightly awkward at the small display of affection at work.

"Warrick, you are the greatest. I would love if you brought the turkey and whatever surprise you've got for us." Angie sighed with relief as the DNA tech, whom had offered to take her place for the day, approached the lab. "Alright, I'm going to go home and get started on our lovely, late Turkey Day dinner. I'll see you guys as soon as shift is over. My address is on the roster."

She stood, sliding her chair under the work station. "My front door will be open, just come on in. I'll see you guys later." She smiled sneaking her way past the guys over towards the glass door, giving a final wave then heading out to the parking lot.

"Oh, so you'll accept Warrick's cooking but not mine, huh?" Greg stuck his tongue out at her. "On second thought, smart move." He added, grinning. "See you soon."

Angie was bouncing with joy. Lizzy was at her heels in the kitchen, begging her to drop something. Angie'd been busy fixing mashed potatos, gravy, creamed corn and a few sweet treats such as her home made apple pie.

Her ears, along with Lizzy's perked up when they heard the front door open. Lizzy, however, refused to move just in case Angie were to drop anything.

"C'mon in. I'm in the kitchen." She called over her shoulder, wiping her hands on her apron, walking out to see who had arrived.

Greg flopped down on the couch, shooting a wary glance in the direction of the kitchen. There was a wall between them now, yet Greg could still hear their muffled voices. Granted, they were compeltely incoherent from here, but he still felt slightly awkward. So he got up and turned on the radio, flipping around the channels in an attempt to find something interesting. Not that he was having much luck, but at least the noise was giving Angie and Hodges a bit more privacy.

He stopped on a random channel. "You a fan of.... french hip hop, Nicky?"

"Who isn't?"
He took the cookie Greg had yet to eat from him, and took a bite.
"Mmm, these are good." He said after swallowing. He was about to eat the rest of it, when he paused, and gave Greg a scrutinzing look.
"Would you, by any chance, know how to bake?" He finally asked.

"Well, I'm an expert with those cookies you just put directly in the oven, and those take a certain finesse and years of experience." He snatched his cookie back from Nick and shoved it all in his mouth in one fast movement.

"Dare I ask why you wanted to know?"
