Sho's definitely pulling strings but the extent of his masterminding is unknown at this point.

Just found your fic and going through all 4 chapters at once. :D

This is really intriguing. So, it's clear that Sho is the serial killer, but what are his motives? It looks like he only targets newbies who's still naive about the world. But then why did he stopped the other officer from killing his own daughter?

I'm looking forward to your next installment!

Sho's motives will be revealed at a later stage (well, that's Jun's job to find out and tell us ;) )

As the title of the story implies, not everything comes with warning signs. A review of some serial killers in history will show that a number of them came across a perfectly normal people who you may have felt inclined to trust. Sho happens to be one such nice guy who is hiding a much more sinister personality beneath that "I'm the friendly and committed to justice inspector that everyone can turn to" façade. So when he is not busy being a serial killer, he is more than happy to assist and save the day.

Now we see some about Sho's secrets as well. :) But his motives is still unknown. Can't wait to know about it more! :) And how will he lead Jun by the nose! :P

Sho is going to remain a mystery to everyone but Jun will slowly (with the help of the other supporting characters) figure him out. Of course, the question is whether Jun will find out soon enough.

Thank you for your suggestion about posting to other communities. I will probably post once I have completed the story.
