I vote House of the Devil

House of the Devil is a very 80s style horror movie. Reminiscent of When A Stranger Calls (with the babysitter theme), the original Last House on the Left and young Jodie Foster-type flicks (what's the one where she lives all alone in a house?). Later it turns into a Dario Argento/Rosemary's Baby kind of Satanic cult deal, but I like the pacing of the setting up the characters, the attention to detail that the set designer and costume designer followed. Seeing Mary Woronov again was fun (she was in Night of the Comet, Eating Raoul, Rock & Roll High School), and the characters who speak feel rather true to life.
