Mir was hurt. His heart was being torn to pieces by him like a piece of meat being devoured and shred by a wild bear. But even so he didn’t let the bright façade slip, no; he wouldn’t allow them to see him upset about something so trivial. ‘It’s just a joke’ he reminded himself but a nagging voice inside his head begged to differ. It hadn’t sounded like a joke to Mir, but then he supposes with the way everyone laughed it had to have been. And even though he’s come to the conclusion that it must have been a joke, his heart still aches. His smile began to slip but luckily for him the attention had filtered elsewhere.
“What do you want from each other?”
He heard his “manager” ask and the only two words which entered his brain were love and affection but he clamped his mouth shut, he could hardly tell the world what he wanted. Mir feared his reaction and he glanced at him from the corner of his eyes, afraid that the other would say he wanted Mir to stop being an annoying brat. Mir wasn’t sure if he could fake happiness after hearing something he dreaded so.
He was relieved but disappointed when G.O cut in, “Let’s just get them to hug.”
Mir was afraid for a moment that he would refuse. Sure they’d had a lot of skin ship moments but he didn’t want to hang out with him. Sure he contacts him the most but he doesn’t want to hang out with him. Sure he’s about to hug him but he doesn’t want to hang out with him.
Wait….Mir blinked, his mind starting to race. When had he stood up? When had Joon stood up and more importantly when had…
Hands encircling his waist stopped every trace of thought he ever had. He was so close he could smell him. Mir tried to shrug it by saying something but it came out an octave higher. He felt Joon’s head nudging his neck and his soft, smooth, plump lips upon his ear. Mir’s heart was still being teared apart despite the close proximity, but then he heard his husky, low voice speak words which seemed to mend his heart completely. “Let’s go see one tomorrow night.”
Mir wasn’t sure if Joon was serious but he’d noticed, and that was enough.
