So, after much discussion Matt and I just booked a 4 day trip to Portland, OR for April 11-14th. We will be evaluating Portland as one of our top choices of where to move now that Matt has been freed from his bonds at Fuji

i don't know if you remember him or not, but a friend of mine, kenny, just moved to portland chasing some internet girlfriend. according to him it's great there. i've heard awesome things about portland and the higher cost of living is definitely worth it. hopefully you'll be able to make more money there.

also on yelp, there are various boards you can post messages on. before moved to hotlanta, i believe rick posted about where to live and he got a bazillion replies. i wish you luck!
