I know....I STRONGLY dislike the sleeve tattoo. Like I just want to slap John. LOL.

They were sexy the way they were before. Now it went and ruined it. I just worry that people are going to see him differently now. It is just so distracting. :(

I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only one who thinks the tattoo sleeve is just ridiculous. I want to send John a Dierks Bentley song called "What Was I Thinking?" hahahahaha!

Full-sleeve tats look good on trashy-looking people (Kid Rock, Tommy Lee, etc). John looks too much like... egalitarian intellectual to have more than a FEW well-concealed tats. DO NOT WANT.

Although I have to say (and once again I'm probably in the minority) that I think Doctor Who is the better show.

You're exactly right about John. It just doesn't "fit" with who he is. He's comes across as trying too hard and plus - it's just ugly. lol

Yay!!! I love the love for the Doctor!!!! I'm very excited for Friday and I'm debating about whether or not I should download the episode as they air in the UK and watch them early. Or do I wait for them on SciFi...hmmmm. I'm not sure yet.

Then Torchwood on Saturday! TimeAgent!Spike is back. I really don't care for this character but I'm hoping it's a good episode nonetheless considering the brother factor.

Okay, so here's my advice: you should NOT download the episodes as they air in the UK. Think about it; the UK is about 3-4 episodes ahead of the US (by the time the actual season starts). Why would you want to cut your enjoyment of the series short by a whole month? Remember when BBC3 would air episodes ahead of BBC2? And then I wound up waiting for TWO WEEKS for Torchwood finale? Yeah, that SUCKED, because had followed BBC2 all along, it would've been a regular weekly wait.

Time!Agent!Spike is awesome. Don't even. You're not allowed to not like him, especially after the premiere. He was a good wife!!!

I have 2 Torchwood icons. Both of them share a theme. I don't have a David or Tenth Doctor. Tis to weep, but I can't find one I love. The ones I see, I just don't love them. ;)

I think you're right about the not downloading thing because I'll get to spend more time with the Doctor. Weeeee!!! And I totally want to find the perfect pic of David that would go with the caption - Perfect Ten! It will have two meanings - "Ten" as part of Tennant and Ten for the number of his Doctor. Wooo!

When are they expected to say whether or not there will be another season of Torchwood? I hope it gets another one just like I hope Doctor Who goes on forever with Tennant as the Doctor. No more regenerations please! :)

Ah work. You know how it is. I'm now running on autopilot and have so little motivation because it just keeps coming. This is my 18th day straight in the office. I'm just so tired mentally. It's taking me forever to do things now as I have to concentrate so much more to get the same amount of work done that I would have done two months ago. But only a month until my vacation and I will have this Saturday off so I'll get a little break at least. Woo. ha!

Oh in Firefly - I'd totally have to go for Mal, but maybe that's just a reflection of my love for Nathan Fillion! ;)

I found time to read Twilight by not sleeping, which I'm now paying for. I went to Target last night to get the other two and have now read about 200 pages of New Moon. I keep waiting for the re-appearance of you know who. I can see why Angelique didn't like this one as much as the first one.

As for the movie, I'm sure that Robert will be okay, but I guess he's not how I imagined Edward to be. But maybe once I see him on screen it will be different. I don't even know if I could fully describe how I picture Edward in my head. I just know that "Cedric" wasn't it. lol I'll still go to the movie of course. I'm curious to see if they can pull it off because the connection that is described in the book between Bella and Edward is going to be hard for any two actors to make it as intense as it is when it's read.

Nathan Fillion is awesome but man, Simon was just so pretty. In my head, he's a little like Ianto (which makes the Captains also similar) - it's always the quiet ones, right? ;)

It's good to see you're alive and well. I'm sorry to hear work is still so busy for you. And my gosh, that cough incident sounds horrible. Hopefully, your vacation will bring you much rest, relaxation and recuperation.

How exciting that you get to go to Scotland, Ireland and Liverpool. I NEED to plan a trip to Scotland and Ireland. I'm part Scottish so I'm dying to explore that country as much as I can. And I want to play some golf there!

I got hooked on Twilight and the other 2 books as well. I believe Breaking Dawn (the fourth) comes out in August. I've see lots of stuff about the movie at twilight_film and I think they're moving in the right direction. I also think the casting was very well done. Enjoy the books though!

So did you go to the LA SPN con? I didn't see you although that's not saying much since there was a lot of people there. Did you have fun? ;-)

I am unbelievably excited to be going to Scotland and Ireland. We're going to spend most of our time out in the countryside amongst the lochs and castles and coastal areas. It should be a great time. I'm thinking no museums or anything too indoors because my whole reason for wanting to visit these places was to actually SEE the country. There is still a ton of stuff to plan and I'm hoping I can make a big dent in it this week.

Twilight - I'll have to reserve my opinion on it totally until I see it on the big screen, but I'm hoping that it's good. I think this is a book that can easily be ruined visually (similar to the Harry Potter books.) Also, I hope I can feel the conflict in Edward and the connection that he and Bella have. Because in the books it really pulls at me. It makes me ache for them and I want that in the movie. I love angst!

I did go to the SPN con but only on Sunday. I just really wanted to see Jared. Simple as that. lol He's so completely adorable and I just want to hug him. I ended up seeing without_me in the

Man, I dig Jared so much. We had a nice little exchange at the con. And I was just blown away by his looks in real life. The TV does not do him justice, imo.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I completely understand your concerns in regards to Twilight. The connection between Edward and Bella is key. If they aren't able to capture and convey the intensity of their relationship on-screen it will fail on every level.
