For some reason, I woke up super early this morning with an urge to look up some of my old elementary school friends from back when I lived in Lacon, IL. FNL Set Visit
Last Friday, angel_q and I went on a set visit to Friday Night Lights. We won this at a charity auction and it got pushed back a little (okay a lot) by the strike. But we were finally able to make our way out to Austin.

Comic-Con/Doctor Who/Vacation/Other Musings
So the Comic-Con schedule is being posted slowly. Thursday and Friday are up and luckily the rumor about the Doctor Who and Torchwood panels being on Thursday was true because I didn't buy a ticket for Friday and it's sold out. The Night My 12-year old Self Dreamed Of
Last night I was at the House of Blues on Sunset to watch the first New Kids on the Block performance in approximately 15 years. I don't even have the words to tell you how incredible it was!
( But I'll certainly try...(spoilers for their Today Show performance lie within) ) -

Every year I have all kinds of trouble getting Paley tickets. EVERY.DAMN.YEAR. You'd think the museum people would get it right one of these times. It's so frustrating! If I don't get any tickets this year, I'm demanding my membership money back because this is frakkin' stupid and can be avoided. -
I voted too!
So on the first day back from the cruise, I voted as well. Looks like I was one of the few to vote for Hillary. I like her immensely and I think she'd do a better job in office. I'm an excellent judge of character and there is something about Obama that I can't put into words yet (but I'm working on it) that just doesn't sit well with me. I ( Read more... ) -

I'm sitting here because I'm waiting for the rest of my group to get here before we can go to the port and start our Mayercraft Carrier adventure. I almost bailed on this last week.
