Same exact thing for me. I did skip day and it was totally worth it.

I wouldn't have anywhere to skip to...aha. And I saw Jost making a calendar of the next few weeks and he was like "Obviously no work on the 22nd" And that's cool. Cause a lot of teachers are doing that. :) So are you gunna listen to the parents???

Thats a bunch of crap.
Why should what you do reflect upon your parents?
And like you said, it's not like your alone on skipping a day all teachers known about that has been a tradition for years.
