I don't think as a mod that I have the ability to appoint new mods -- I think that's a maintainer thing. I'll spend the day exploring what exactly mod privileges are.
I had an idea. If we can come up with at least six mods, we could have each mod be in charge of getting a post put up on a certain day of the week (excluding the "anything" day). That day of the week would be that mod's day for checking the queue and it would probably help things run pretty smoothly.
