You don’t need to go to college
You don’t need to acquire debt
You don’t need to work a 9-5
You don’t need to spend money to have fun
You don’t need to believe in theism

This la-de-da "philosophical" shit makes me sick to my stomach. Life sucks. You have to do things you don't want to do. Things happen to you that are completely out of your control. That's life.

That's exactly the inside-the-box thinking that inspired me to write this. Why is it bullshit? What specifically did I say that "makes you sick"?

Sure, some things happen that are out of your control, but you get to choose how you perceive and react to them.

Implying that "You have to do things you don't want to do" is completely innacurate. Tell me the situation that requires you to do something and I guarantee I can trace it back to a point in your life that you made the decision to consciously accept it into your life.

For example, if you have to work to support a family, somewhere along the way you chose to have the family.

This post is about taking self-responsibility and embracing the pure joy of life that is gained by taking complete control of your own.

Before I discuss this with you, I'd like to know who you are and if you have an LJ account.

Wow that post was from a while ago. I am a lazy turd.
