The Look Right Before You Cry, It's Always Here
A short series of reactions to GOF because I doubt anyone wants to read the lengthy, four-page version. _ensoleille and I went to see it together last Friday.
Snake: *slides through grass*
Lina: This is terrible. It’s been so long since I’ve read the book that I actually forgot it started like this.
Ron: *in bed SHIRTLESS*
Lina: He’s been working out!
Cedric: *jumps down from tree*
Lina: *clutches Beau* ZOMG
Beau: Ow! My hand!
Harry at the World Cup: *sees Crouch* *falls*
Lina: He gets knocked out AGAIN? In how many movies is that now?
Fred, George, Harry and Ron: *all singing in the tent*
Lina: Yeah, but who won the Cup? And how drunk are they?
Death Eaters: *Loot! Pillage! Burn, my pretties!*
Lina: Pointy?!!
Harry (about Crouch): I didn’t get a good look at him…
*Beau and Linz turn to each other snickering*
Beau: Damn this bad eyesight!
Lina: I need new glasses!
Beau: They cut out all the house elves and SPEW stuff
Lina: YAY.
Beau: Ginny is so pretty!
Beau: Cho is so pretty!
Beau: Fleur is so pretty! (repeated about four more times)
Draco: *gets turned into ferret and back, no loss of clothing evident*
Lina: Ohh, what??
Beau: I didn’t picture the head in the fire like that…
Linz: Neither. Nobody did.
Parvati and Padma: Hi Harry! (about a gazillion times)
Beau: Why do they keep doing that?
Lina: Because Parvati is obviously in love with him duh
Beau: *looks at Lina as if she is a delusional type person and not her kind, loving sister*
Parvati and Harry: *dance together*
Lina: I’m dying from happiness
Harry: *is wet and shirtless*
Lina: Thank you, baby Jesus!!
-Sometime during the second task-
Lina: So…is Fleur going to speak now? Anytime soon? Come on!
Beau: She looked soooo pretty!
Lina: *wonders again, what did people watching the second task do for that hour or so? it’s not like they could actually see what was going on underwater…*
Maze: *eats people*
Lina: omg this is awful :S I hate carnivorous plants. HATE.
Lina: *sobs throughout the whole third task because Cedric! Never coming back again!*
-At the end of the movie-
Lina: where WAS Sirius?
Lina: I thought GOF was not as artistic as POA, cinematography-wise, you know?
Jess: Yeah, but you know at the beginning when they’re walking up the hill to get to the Portkey and the camera moves through the grass? I think I saw that shot in Lord of the Rings.
Lina: *dies laughing*
And also I’d just like to say that I was very impressed by the post Yule Ball moment. Emma’s ‘Ron, you ruined everything!’ line just killed me, I was so upset for her. Hurrah for the R/Hr love :)
