Bourbon and champagne are delicious together- especially if you use a sweeter bourbon like Maker's Mark. There are some classic champagne cocktails that use bourbon, champagne and a sweet liqueur like a pear brandy, Grand Marnier, Chambord, or peach schnapps. Champagne cocktails are fizzy and delicious for spring and summer! They are a great area of experimentation too. You'll have fun playing around with them!
ah, my cocktail expert has resurfaced :) how are you girlie?? those all sound good, you know, champagne is like tequila for me, it takes very little to knock me for a loop... and i did find a recipe for a champagne margarita :)
I have been good! I have just been doing so much writing this semester that I don't have any "writing energy" for lj or emails or anything. I am sad that I am losing contact with folks though! I have three huge papers due this coming week, and once I'm past that hump I might reenter the world for a brief period before buckling down again for my end of term papers. I miss people!
