Hn.

Also, you're on punishment duty. Before your match tomorrow, the apartment has to be cleaned. Get Kinomiya to help if you want.

It's a fight using our tops, called beyblades.

Kinomiya and I will be fighting with our tops. [ Here, have an example. ]

[ The image's a bit fuzzy, but there's a dark blue top spinning down on the ground. ]

Does that help?

Not really. I mean I know what a top is... but how would you fight with it? Don't they usually just spin all over the place? And acting like a top just makes you dizzy.

Beyblades are different from traditional tops. Usually, there would be a holy beast inside of them, but due to this city, they've been taken out of their chips and are allowed to roam freely. You can customize them with attack, defense and weight rings, amongst other things.

The old folks are still recovering. We're not as spry as you.

"Beyblades"...

[yes he knows those are those top things. He's just curious.]

I would like to see them in action again. I have never seen anything like that, before.

[hang out with grandpa y/n?]

So I see. [ Your endurance wasn't turned up all the way to fifty to get through that kind of tiring stuff. ]

Very well. We're going to fight near the warehouses.

[ Go right ahead! :3 ]

[I'm an old zombie! with my chip in! >.>]

Perhaps Elysia will enjoy seeing it. It was quite a sight.

[...]

Would you tell me how they work? Your weapons.

[this is relevant to interests, and mebbe a way to make grandson like me, so.]

[ And my chip's still in too! ]

You think so?

Well, beyblades are different from traditional tops. They can be customized to have weight, defense and attack rings. They usually have their holy beast contained inside, but they're out to roam freely. Beybladers customize them to their needs and specialties, so mine's balance and combination based. Back home, I used to be the world champion before Kinomiya took the title from me.
