Omg I'm so slow at writing, sorry! >_> But I only have time at weekends and only if I have no other plans...
But anyway! The 9th day was a new year and we had decided to visit Odaiba~ We left pretty early, around 10am, because it took an hour to get there.
From Nakano station
Odaiba
Fuji TV building. For M it always reminds her of Digimon :D
At Odaiba we first went to Diver City. After walking and walking we got so hungry that it was time for food, this time yakisoba.
I also bought these, so tasty! Though maybe the milkshake was a bit too sweet?
And then we realized there's the huge Gundam in the 'backyard'!
Omg it was so awesome!
Then we headed to Aqua city.
And again, Psycho Pass ads
Rainbow Bridge~
And I didn't know Coca Cola had it's own store but yeah
And and! There were a lot of Psycho Pass things, own store, a cafe and everything! I was in heaven *A*
After just walking we found ourselves in this kind of restaurant floor. It was so pretty!
And then we finally went and took a purikura, awww~
It had gotten a little darker outside so we decided to take another look of the Rainbow Bridge
We sat down and waited it to get even darker. And while waiting we ate these, so tasty~
In Odaiba there were a lot of illumination and everything was in colors of rainbow. So pretty ^_^
And yeah, Rainbow Bridge indeed *_*
And the Gundam was illuminated as well so next we headed back to Diver City to see it too.
I wanted to take a better picture of the ferris wheel but the batteries on my camera died.. This is the last picture I could take from Odaiba.
Well after this we headed back to Nakano. Our hostel, again, had prepared something for us. A New Year soba! So we decided to go and eat and while eating charged our phones and cameras. Then we just waited till it was closer to midnight. Our plan was to go to Shibuya to see the count down~
The soba was really good~!
And then time for the count down!
We were so excited, New Year in Japan, count down in Shibuya and then...
What the hell. We arrived at Shibuya 10 min before midnight and they were announcing there were no count down.. What?!?! I was so disappointed!
It was really crazy in Shibuya so after the year had changed we decided to go to see what it was in Harajuku.
Well the Meiji Shrine, it was so full that we just decided to go back to Nakano and see if the shrine there was less crowded.
Few pictures of the food stalls in Harajuku
I was so disappointed.. Christmas nor the New Year were nothing I had imagined of but when we reach the shrine in Nakano I was a little happier. It was so pretty~
I got bad luck =.=
And yeah, by the time we reach our hostel again it was already 4.30am? We were so tired that we just went to bed and slept like babies, lol.
That was the New Year in Japan!
Oh and Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
