I just came from the doctor. Apparently I have hypothyroidism (and I swear it sounds less scary in portuguese... it's all those y's).

That explains a lot, you know.

On the one hand: now that I know the problem, it can be treated.

On the other: that was my mother's condition. And, in two months I going to be 21 years old. I mean, bloody hell!

I have that too! I know how you feel. I was on thyroid medicine for a year before the thyroid levels were normal. And I'm off the medicine. Doing ok for now.
