That was AMAZING. Probably the best movie I've seen this year. Nino is just...OMG I'm speechless. O-oku took my breath away. The picture quality was so clean and clear and everyone just looked flawless! Everything was just SO BEAUTIFUL

EEEHH don't tell me Dear Snow is like, made for that movie??

For some reason I just started listening to that song literally yesterday. I was on some random blog and they had this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmTnaj57R5w somewhere in there, and I FREAKIN LOOVE IT! (on loop all day yesterday XD) I love it more than the actual song :D but I still really like it.

The problem is, I'm not interested at all in the movie D: like you said, it looks like a VERY boring historical/period piece. MEH.

Try not to think about it that way? Like I said, it was very light~ And you know how some Japanese movies reeeeaaaally take their time? *coughBOKU-IMOcough* I was expecting this movie to be like that, but it wasn't like that at all. I was actually hoping for more slow pretty scenes :'D
Nino looks amazing, too! Haha. Everything was just soooo pretty.
Even though I was interested in the story from the beginning (IDEK it just sounded very interesting to me o.o), I think you'll really enjoy it. GO WATCH! 8D

i wasn't expecting the story to be that easy to enjoy... There was just something about this movie...the honesty..the irony...makes me wonder how much of it is true...
Nino...well... no words... he's perfect!

I LOVE how in the beginning of the movie it shows the Shogun kind of looked around and stopped at Mizuno. But when you get to middle of movie - to that part - it didn't show that small piece again. It's like the movie intends to leave it to your own thinking/imagination... "did she trip by accident? did Mizuno really get chosen out of luck? Or did the Shogun decide the second she saw him and maybe she tripped because she met someone as pretty as Mizuno?" LOLLLLL just my theories......

Yes, I noticed all the flashbacks and stuff! I was soooo confused at first >.< I bet if I watch it again I'll notice stuff I didn't notice the first time I watched.

I was thinking about how the guy next to Mizuno was, like, trembling...I wonder if he was the one who actually laughed or if he just wanted to tell on Mizuno :3

This makes me more excited to watch it! I thought the plot was interesting, but I agree, I thought it'd be a really boring/dry period film which lots of stern expressions and scenery haha. Definitely checking it out now~
