Well, he didn't like my idea. Go figure. I watched him click on other links before he got to another nice peice of furniture that would look nice there. There. The warehouse that would need alot of cleaning up. God, that was going to take forever, but it would be okay, we could do it. Especially with the help from Xander and Dawn most likely. If I wasn't so against the whole Willow doing magic, I'd have her fix it up, but she had a problem with it and thank God for Tara who helped her through it

She liked it. Very good, since I had this idea she was going to spend a lot of time at my place as well. Or the office rather, I can only hope she'll be spending a lot of time at my place. But let's not assume before we actually made it clear to ourselves what we want out of this.
It would seem both of us are still very much in the dark about that. Afraid even, though I wouldn't admit that at gun point.
"Does it?" I squinted at the small print she pointed out and read through it. It would appear to be the case. I looked back up to the screen and wondered just how this would really look. I've often found out that things one buys online can disappoint. At least Cordelia usually was.
"Is there a furniture shop near here we could go to? I'd really like to see these with my own eyes before buying them?" If not then I'd just buy this whole lot, since Buffy likes them. What could be more important?
"Well," I said, glancing at my watch. "If it's not far from the real estate agent we can go now and then go there afterward." Knowing this small town, that shouldn't be much of a problem. Unlike in Los Angeles where it could take you up to a bloody hour to get from point A to point B. And then those points were close by, relatively speaking. As small town does have certain advantages

Raising an eyebrow, I blinked at her as she leaned against me. Oh yes, she found something she liked alright. And she wants me to get it. Funny how I seem to recognize that already. There are just ways about Buffy Summer's I've never noticed before. Not that I bothered, mind you. Which was my loss, but I'm about to make up for that. Or so I hope.
I turned around with her and then stared at the bed she pointed at. Gazed at. Was drooling over. It was of the same material as the office furniture. But of course it wasn't office furniture. At least to my knowledge beds didn't belong in the office. Which I was about to point out when she sauntered over

"We should," I said with a nod and leaned over, giving him a small kiss. "I mean, it's just huge and we'll have space and ... yeah," I said slowly and laid back on it. It was comfortable too and it was much bigger than my bed at home, which hopefully, I wouldn't be in ... that much. I'd be staying with Wes on most nights anyway, at least I thought so, I hoped so. I just can't believe he was actually going to take it just cause I wanted it. What if he didn't like it? I'm sure he'd say something ... disapproving. I mean, come on, Wes is good at the whole disapproving thing

Leaning back on my hands, I looked at her amused. She really did like the bed. I didn't much care either way, not really. As long as I could sleep in it comfortably, it was fine by me. And this did look like it was a whole lot more comfortable then a sofa. Or a desk I'd fallen asleep at quite often.
My eyebrow shot up and I gave her a confused look. "Of course I'm sure..." I stated quite firmly and then paused when she mentioned she'd be in that bed with me as much as she could. That brought a grin to my face I just knew was a stupid one. A very silly one, but I couldn't help it. It just made me feel... Needed. Wanted. Both? Something good.
But my eyes did bulge out when she continued. I frowned at that and then cleared my throat. "Yes, well, I'm not one for throwing people around." No, usually I was the one who got thrown around. Not anymore though. Giving her a dubious look, I tilted my head. "Unless you want me too. Do you?" I asked. "Get tossed around, I mean. By-by me?"
I rolled my eyes as I watched him and then looked around the room, seeing what the other people were up to before glancing at him again. I almost laughed when he asked if I wanted to get tossed around by him, I don't think he understood what I was saying, or something, but he was so adorable right now. His eyes were wide and questioning, but soft at the same time, like he was surprised

I smiled shyly up at him when he said 'we,' but I didn't say anything. I didn't want to say anything and I hoped he wasn't going to say anything, but he did and he corrected himself and ... yeah. Well, I mean, he should cause you know, it's his place, not mine, not ours ... his. And his alone. "Wes, please ... you would have done fine without me," I said and took a few steps closer to him. "You would have done great." Standing on the tips of my toes, I leaned up and gave him a kiss before wrapping my arms arounds and holding onto him. It wasn't until I heard the squeel of tires, that I turned my head to see Xander ... getting out of his car

One moment we were all ready to get moving again. Get the paint, curtains and whatever else one needed. I had no idea, I was counting on Buffy to help me out there. Did we need carpet? I suppose so. And then we were going to have some lunch, because by then Buffy would no doubt be starving
( ... )
The urge to run after her was very much present as I watched Buffy all but run off. But something told me she needed some time on her own now. Which isn't always good, I should know. There are these deceitful little voice who appear to be in everyone's head. Some are louder then others. But they always tell you lies. It's up to you to believe them or not. And trust me, I know how hard it is *not* to believe them
