Here Patiently I waited for her to return. It really was nice weather out, I was feeling a little better already. Pulling out a handkerchief, I blew my nose and wiped it clean. Now, if that would stay like this the rest of the day, I should be good to go. Nothing major, just a cold. I looked up when I heard the door again, smiling when she jogged over.
Oh my, she really did look pretty. Blinking, I followed her with my eyes as she got into the car, started the engine and drove off. "What?" I shook my head at her question and frowned. What had I been saying? When? I don't remember. It probably doesn't matter. If it was important I'm sure I'll come to me. "You look very pretty," I said quietly instead. I smiled as she looked over, letting my eyes move over her body appreciatively.
Sitting back in the seat, I pushed up my sunglasses while we drove over to the nearest place to get some sandwiches. Pity we can't take some tea with us as well. Only that iced crap, and that's not tea. That is flavored water with an overload on sugar. She parked the car and I got out with her, following her inside. "I wonder if they've any muffins, or scones." Haven't had those in...a very long time.
