My great uncle Bernie used to take us on wonderful tours of NY when we'd go back there for vacations. Stuff we never got around to when we lived there when I was really little. One year he took us up to Windows of the World, not to eat, just to look out the windows! *grins* That's what I try and remember when I think about it. And yes, it makes me very sad that the building that gave me that memory is gone, but at the same time, it's still always there as long as I remember it.
But I'm really glad I haven't flown into NY since it happened, I think missing that on the incoming approach would really upset me.
