It occurs to me that I haven't updated this in quite some time. I keep meaning to but never seem to get around to it.

Well what better time than when I find myself sitting in a bar in Barcelona drinking Norwegian beer, in a bar owned by a Danish guy talking to the owner and a woman from Germany. Well I was until 5 minutes ago. Now I am drinking ( Read more... )

Depends what you are buying. Beer is more expensive pretty much everywhere in Spain, France and other Med countries. I think it is a cultural thing. People tend not to drink pints, in fact you can buy it in 125ml measures some places so the price tendes to be much higher than in a UK pub. Wine on the other hand is cheap as chips as there is no tax on it....
