Wilson in his own way had perhaps already been warned and as he had explained to Phoebe last night, he just knew.

So when time passed and he heard no sound from below, he just had a feeling.

Thus, he was making tea and laying out some of the Christmas cookies that Aziraphale had made for the kids.

The pair didn't have many secrets between them anymore, and Aziraphale was sure his mate would have already guessed. So rather than go through a long explanation, he simply walked up behind the young doctor and wrapped his arms around the man.

I'm going to miss this, Wilson thought to himself, knowing that was what he'd be unable to totally be logical about. The loss of comforting arms and the warm wrap of gentle wings.

"I think you have finally succeeded in teaching me how to make tea the right way," he said with a smile, turning his head to kiss the angel's jaw line. "No wonder they are insisting you move on."

Aziraphale would miss it as well. Would miss having Wilson in his arms at night, and those gentle kisses, and that boyish grin.

"You've figured out the secret," he chuckled softly. "It really isn't about thwarting temptation at all. It's a vast conspiracy to convert you all into tea drinkers."

The angel brushed his lips to Wilson's, then reached for the man's hand and twined their fingers together. "You don't have any pressing business in the morning, do you?"
