An exceedingly overdue post
To start, I should thank everyone that has sent birthday wishes this way, in either virtual gifts, LJ posts, phone calls or actual presents that have come in the mail. I appreciate each and ever one of them and I have nothing but love for everyone :)
Things have been busy, yet at the same time supernaturally boring here. We finally moved into a two bedroom apartment and it took some time to get everything settled here. We're still not completely unpacked but at this point, I don't know that I ever see that happening. At least not until we actually get into a house again which will be... well... who the hell knows at this point. Right now I'm not looking forward to moving again anytime soon, although it would be nice to have a yard again. It can wait though, at least until the sight of packing supplies don't make me ill.
On the art front, commissions had come to a stand still for a while for a multitude of reasons. Moving + severe CTS is never a good thing and I ended up blowing my wrists out for a couple of months. It made doing any drawing impossible and now that it's finally starting to clear up again I can get back on schedule. Yes, madmiko your HeKa pic is next in line, never fear ;)
On the writing front, I failed so abysmally at Nanowrimo last year due to lack of interest, that I decided to make an attempt at it again. My first year's attempt resulted in my IY/Trinity Blood fic which is almost completely posted now. I just haven't gotten around to throwing the epilogue up. This year I tackled an IY/Dark Hunter plotbunny that said write me or die and I'm pleased to say that I'm already 128k words into the story. Unfortunately, my outline ended up being burned as an offering to the muse to keep her going and right now, I'm pretty much writing as it comes to me. I swear if the bitch abandons me again after all this I'm going to burn HER at the stake.
And in other news... well there really is no other news lol All corsetry and costuming was put on hold for the move and we have yet to unpack everything. I am hoping to get started on the corsets again sometime soon though, since I found a bunch of old patterns for sale on ebay that I've been itching to get my hands on.
Hopefully when that happens, I'll have more to post about. Until then, I'll just have to bore people with art and fic posts :D
