Daytona Beach - The city was awarded a $400,000 ECHO grant from the County of Volusia for the construction of a 20,000 square-foot skateboard park at Bethune Point Park. The new skate facility, with a total cost of $800,000, will feature four sections - beginners, BMX, street course and a bowl section and will be completed by March 2008.
