Sephiroth walked carefully along the Kilika shoreline, away from the docks and jungle, towards a more secluded part of the sunny beach. During his employment at the Shin-Ra company, many had thought it a wonderful vacation to visit Costa del Sol. Indeed, Zack had continually complained of the work-related tasks that kept popping up there,

Zack stood ankle-deep in the cool water, enjoying the way that the waves moved against his skin. It was a little cooler than he would have liked, being used to jungle heat, but the sun was beating down pleasantly on his bare shoulders and there were no missions to distract him from the pure pleasure of this new, interesting place.

He waded in a little deeper. Whirling at the sound of a familiar voice, splashing water everywhere, he grinned. He waved back, running forward and flinging droplets of water everywhere.

"Hey, Seph!" He laughed. "Trust you to be dressed like a bondage model even out here."

Sephiroth blinked in distaste as some of those droplets spattered onto him, brushing them off quickly to avoid the leather soaking them up. "Leather is a decent lightweight armor. Assuming it doesn't get wet." A slight pause, and he looked at Zack, memorizing the giddy bounciness, the way the sunlight seemed so much brighter around his friend. "It's good to see you."

"Y'know, usually people would just think, 'hey, I'm on the beach! Can see for miles in every direction! The armour can come off for a bit.' Is enjoying yourself against regulations, or something?" He shrugged lightly, still grinning. He was tempted to hug Seph, but he wasn't quite wet enough for that, yet.

The grin became wider. "I am unusual, then. And I'm not under Shin-Ra's employ, any longer."
