alright, so I love my roommate and all, but I dont watch tv while you're doing homework, or sit and talk and gossip and discuss women's issues in the room while she's around.... I understand the not feeling well, but I have a Calc test tomorrow and I would appreciate you taking your cell phone gossip out of the room and keeping the tv off, and not ( Read more... )

i can't say i know exactly how you feel, because my roommate issues are different. (see previous entries for further details if desired) but think of it this way, there are what, seven more weeks of school and then you NEVER. DEAL. WITH. HER. AGAIN. and that, my dearest, is something to which we can happily look forward to. it's deserved. and good luck with your calculus. breathe deeply, in through your nose and out through your mouth. *hearts* <3<3 :)

tell her that, but maybe a little more gently. my roommate had a tv last semester and it was always on. whenever it bothered me, i asked if i could shut it off. whether she wanted to or not, she always said yes. if she's a decent person, and you ask forcefully but nicely, she'll comply and won't think any...less? of you.
