A Semester to Remember

Jan 27, 2005 15:58

My spring semester is going to be action-packed! It’s hard to type “spring” and mean it. Forty inches of snow on my lawn doesn’t exactly conjure up images of daffodils and baby ducklings splashing in the pond ( Read more... )

I think I went to the wrong school. First day of class all my teachers said, "This is a 400 level class so we'll have lots of work". That's crap.

I should get the script for "Promise of Love". This way you could bring it into your acting class and show them how it's done in foreign countries. Granted, it's filmed in California, but that's neither here nor there.

But perhaps your school prepared you for the real world. Mine taught me how to dance around a tree. Useful.

One of my major goals in life is to perform my own version of "Promise of Love." Can we please have a pajama party soon and watch it over and over until all our internal organs ache with laughter? Please? Please? Pretty please?

sounds awesome. you so should act. you could star as a newfangled vampira in my b-horror movies in which you wrestle foam octopuses representing corporate america. that would rock.
incidentally i told a guy yesterday that i was abandoning my directorial dreams because of actresses. i was quite drunk i fear. (and that is in no way a reflection on you)

At one point I thought my life path would be "actress." Maybe I should pick that road up again.

Please don't abandon your behind the camera ways! You are a master of film! If you're going to direct things, they will be important and I will be in them.

Kate? Drunk? I like it. We always end up doing tame activities together like knitting or gingerbread mobile home making. This is not to say that we are not ridiculously talented in those areas, but it's time for us to cause trouble.

We should go out and cause chaos. Maybe break laws, and most definitely break hearts. That would be awesome. Let me know when you are available. I will be going insane between now and thursday, but after that my schedule clears up.

I have to see a play before Febuary 10th. You're on top of the art scene, right?? Help me pick one and come with me. Maybe Thursday or next Tuesday or something.

"Maybe break laws, and most definitely break hearts," is a brilliant piece of writing. Heartbreaking is an important skill that we obviously both have.

Also, I know I've said this before, but I listen to the CDs you made me like it's my job. On the way to school today it was "Nanny nanny nanny nanny boo boo, it's just a joke man..." I listen to them and think: "Kate is crazy. Crazy. And awesome."
