The clear-eyed, callous stars look down
On darkened field and lightened town,
Slow moving through unmeasured space,
Or set in their appointed place,
From whence they shed impartial light
On sin and sorrow of the night,
Unstained, untouched by all they see,
Too bright and cold for sympathy.

A night out with the lads from school. Drunken debau-- well, not so much with the debauchery anymore. Which is never good for anyone else.

I'm very worried about him. His expidition didn't go well and he won't tell me what happened. There's a sadness about him he's trying to hide. I'm sorely tempted to find out through my own methods but it would be a terrible invasion of privacy.
