Fanmeets and Things
I know I suck. It's been close to two weeks since the GANTZ Fanmeet and I never wrote up the report.
I'm sure I've horribly forgotten names except for a few. So to not make people feel left out...I will use LJ names only xD
So I leave home around 10:30am to catch the train and planned on walking to the Japan Society. After a small mishap with the trains, me and my sis ended up a bit late than I wanted to be. So once we get out the station, I get a call from takakuflyme stating that she's already in front of the place and that people are entering. I gave up on the walking to Japan Society and took a cab xD.
We meet and she saved us some seats in a somewhat nosebleed section, but it was literally the only ones that would allow all of us [or nearly all of us] to sit together xD. We chat for a while and I basically felt like a headless chicken. I got a text from menolly1019 that she will be late. I also got a call from lmnevans that she would be a bit late as well [but the service in there sucked so our calls were compiled of "What? Huh? Can you hear me? Hello?"]
Then I went outside to see if there were any goils [<--not a typo] waiting for me outside, since that was the original plan >.< And I wrangled up 3 of them lol finiz + her friend with the awesome hair and topazera. larrysam123 also was a bit tardy but came like right on time xD.
So GANTZ shows. I felt that I understood and appreciate the movie more now that I watched it again. Not because it was subbed and not god awfully dubbed, but just seeing it a second time made me like the movie better. Then we were told to save our seats for some reason that made no sense @__@ where I finally met up with menolly1019 and larrysame123.
Though it was shortlived since we were already going back in. GANTZ: Perfect Answer showed....I think I need to see it again. What I liked about it, was that it had parts from the manga but switched around a bit, kinda giving it a new angle. It felt a bit rushed, but maybe it was so action packed that I was like "WTF" xD. Also, we got a new crowd....and this one over excited dude [like calm your tits sir, the nice went in the gun...it was cool...now shhh].
After the movie we went outside and made a circle to introduce ourselves....I've forgotten names...not all, but still I suck. Anyway we walked and talked to Gyu Kaku [actually we walked a bit too far xDD] but we made it right on time for the reservation.
The tables were nice and we all fit in nicely, though it sucked cause I felt so far away to a lot of the girls. So it was mainly me, my sis, takakuflyme and larrysam123 chatting in one area.
Wont go into deets about what I had, but it was fucking delicious.
We then took a few pics inside and outside the place. Then awkwardly went our own ways xDD. I wasn't sure if I should've hugged people or not...I guess not...idk xDD.
So me, my sis, and larrysam123 walked and talked towards the D train since she didnt really know her way around. I thought me and my sis were gonna go home, but my sis wanted to do a few errands and so we sadly had to part.
Afterwards me and my sis did said errands and I bought me some vodka [that I still have, woot woot not an alcoholic ^o^].
So that was our fun day. I wanted to try to do another fanmeet but seeming how it took me a million years to make this post...looks like I can't even think to try and be a coordinator of a fanmeet.
