This is a response I just wrote in a friends blog, I realize this is the biggest reason why I left Michigan. Besides this the only way my dream can become real is here, I see that now. It will be a struggle...It is a struggle but I will make it I can feel it, I don't quite know what it is but I'll make it.

it's not just the art community that's drying up, right? i hear there's a statewide campaign to keep young people in michigan. it's like every sector (excepting health care) is drying up.

pretty sad but glad you're closer to where you need to be.

Well the only one I am associated with is the art/music community so that's really the only one I know about. But yeah that place is slowly becoming a ghost town.
