The other day I wrote in my LJ about the rollercoster of emotions I went through when I thought the coat was no more (I'm now hearing it's only gonna be re-designed). My buddy zazajb even wrote a coat!smut fic and dedicated it to me. I love that coat as much as Ianto... *sighs*

I don't want to sound rude, but... should we care? At all? There's nothing left, it's not like I was even remotely considering to watch because of the frigging coat.

To me it's got the same importance than that of Gwen's high heel shoes, meaning no importance at all. It's not that I don't care about wardrobe, it's that I just don't care about the whole sorry mess. With or without the coat.

A last note: given that Jack is now American! he couldn't go fucking around with a RAF coat, they'll probably dress him like a Marine and that's that.

Eww, not a Marine, I was hoping for more like Game Station Jack but more mature if we have to change at all.

If there were to be a change I'd be in favor of going back to leather boy Jack! *drool*

My post-CoE story (which I've been writing for two years, it's been sort of hard) has parts set in America.

But I didn't ditch the coat. Some things you just don't do.

Why are they even continuing to call the new show Torchwood? There is going to be absolutely NOTHING Torchwood about it except for two, maybe three, character names. Are they even going to remember Rhys, or is Gwen going to be the next Mary and have conceived via immaculate conception? Or worse... are they going to find a way to make the baby Jack's?

Remember when we were all so excited about CoE, kids? Damn, that feels like so long ago ...

Was there ever a bigger let down? :(

That idea is so terrible that now I'm worried they'll do just that.

Kai Owen who's played Rhys from the first series and Tom Price who's played PC Andy from the first series are in LA for filming. Of course Kai himself guessed at Chicago TARDIS that Rhys has got four or five episodes before they kill him off. He'd only seen the script for the first episode.
