I took a study break to write some House/Wilson fluff. Inspired by prompt pic #4 from today's
House Community Fest activities.
Base Camp
House couldn't remember the last time he'd felt so scared. Genuinely terrified. He was about to take a big step.
He'd spent the past two weeks laying the groundwork - standing even closer than usual, making more suggestive comments, and flirting more outrageously. Wilson hadn't objected or questioned him, so he was either oblivious or playing along. House was fairly sure it was the second option.
Now, his heart pounding, he leaned over and kissed Wilson.
It took him a few seconds to realize that Wilson was actually kissing him back. Wilson sighed something that sounded like, "Finally", but House couldn't quite tell, and it wasn't important anyway.
Much later, when they were slumped on the couch in each other's arms, House felt quite pleased with how things had turned out. He couldn't wait to get started on the next part.
