Herzog, By Saul Bellow

I recently undertook the task of reading Herzog by the highly awarded writer Saul Bellow. I am only about half way through it but am enjoying it thoroughly. I'm sorry that I missed you during your Gainesville expedition. I feel like it has been a long time since we've had a conversation face to face, so I hope I'll see you sometime over the summer.

This could be wildly incorrect, but your self-analysis here doesn't seem that different from the Small Bear I know (well, minus the religious fuel gage reading empty). Then again, maybe not seeing someone for months could do that. Still, via the tangential information that reaches me, you seem to have changed a lot.

Oh, and Sufjan Stevens has a song called "Saul Bellow" about that fellow.
