First of all, Watchmen = awesome.

The movie is not 100% accurate and some of the plot changes were a little drastic. Then again, Zack Synder did put forth a damned well-put together superhero movie. Given all the intricacies, backstories, sidestories, flashbacks and plot devices of the source material, it's no wonder they had to cut and condense ( Read more... )

I agree, it was good overall. I plan on picking up the DVD too, because of all of the footage not shown in theaters. Gerard Butler and pirates, OMG~

Yeah, I was waiting for Smashing Pumpkins too, but it never came! I was kinda sad.....

Wow, two compleatly different worlds indeed....I think MCR redid the song to fit the movie better. But wow, its like 7 mins shorter than the original.....the soundtrack is pretty awesome though, I'm thinking about getting that too!

I saw it. OMFG. Has this guy ever heard of "Conservation of Matter"? "Conservation of Energy"? I want to read the book because for me, it's easier to suspend the disbelief with books. In the theatre, I was looking at Dr. Manhattan and was like, "Are you serious? And you're a physicist?"

The book's gives way better dialogue, but compared to the movie, the ending is even more...out-there. I have it if you ever want to borrow :D
