hey friend. it was a delightful surprise to see you last night. it was an exhausting night, but i found it encouraging myself, as i was renewed with energy and peace about being in the service industry for a while longer.

people can be rude and try to ruin our days, but it's the moments when someone notices you going the extra mile, or a sincere thanks that should break those bad moments in half and give us reason to smile some more! i should tell myself this far more often...
