Sadly enough, this reminds me of my own childhood...my mother was convinced that pokemon was satanic (and indeed certain pokemon do look rather sinister) and made us throw away our gameboy cartridges. Woe!

Your post made me smile : ) I was just reading my text book about international management / marketing and the example they used was how different selling styles had to be used in order to succeed in Germany and to succeed in the US, and how the countries are SOO DIFFERENT. Well apparently not, they are wrong, and you are right.
