BLACKWOOD FARM CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Dec 27, 2016 20:43

Well guys, I'm back. A friend of mine told me they really wanted to know what happened next, and since I've since read ahead to Chapter 23, I decided to get my butt in gear and oblige. Hopefully I'll have the energy and drive to summarize the successive chapters too!

Actually I have an OC who cries during sex sometimes. But that's because she's so out of habit of people being nice to her, that when her partners say to her sweet things in private times (no matter how honest they are) she can shed a tear or two. Because it's feels so nice *just to hear* she's desirable that she can't help it.
In Quinn's caseeeeeeeearhhhh no, I don't hink Jasmine was crying of pleasure .___. Because he talks and acts like abuser. The way he calls her is freaking insulting, and judging by his interactions with her I'm pretty sure he raped her. That's horrifying.
That's all I have to say.

Welcome back! And Happy Holidays! 8D

Yeah, I have no doubt some people cry during sex for non-awful reasons. But the tear-gobbling...just...what?

And yeah. She is waiting for him on the bed dressed all sexy and tells him to take her panties off, and Quinn says "you never saw a more earnest invitation" or something like that, so on the surface it seems consensual...but then you remember the power dynamics here, how he's her boss, how he literally ORDERED her to be here and do this. So her getting dressed up for it is not in fact indicative at all this is something she wants to do when you factor that in, so her crying during it because it's NOT what she wants...sadly sounds completely possible and likely.

And thank you!

Yeah. It sounds like this "drinking virgin's tears" rout or something like that. That's just creepy.

Exactly! I bet if she was bringing this question up he'd be totally like "Oh, you thought I was ordering to you? Because I wasn't, you came here by your own will!" And when I think that's why she was crying about... that makes me wanna smash things!
And yeah, I'm terribly sorry for my bad english, my phrasing could sound weird sometimes T__T

At this point, the only acceptable way for this book to end would be with Quinn's extremely painful death. His mother could return to the childhood home where she was abused, find it a charred husk, sign over the remainder of the estate to the servants, and go on with her singing career.

It was totally like that with Claudia, though at some point it starts to seem intentional.
