If you put a battery in a charger the wrong way round, resulting in a little crackle and a flash, it's likely you've ruined that battery, right?
I drive myself crackers sometimes, honestly.

mmm I don't know.... Did you try it ?

Yes. It doesn't work, and it won't charge. I'm wondering if the battery's truly dead, or if I've done something weird to the charger.
