After seeing your comment I watched Hunter on iplayer and I must admit I rather liked it. The young coppers rather got on my nerves but the leads were very good and it was somewhat unexpected to see Clare Holman play the baddie for a change. I hope they do more of those.

Being Human - would I need to hunt down the pilot to understand it?

I hope there's more Hunter too (originally it was a one-off called Five Days, which was rather drawn out and serious, but established the main detectives' relationship really well...) And yes to Clare Holman playing bad - completely unexpected but very lovely.

Being Human - considering one of the three main characters has been taken over by a very different actress than the original, I'm imagining they are going to give people who've not seen the pilot a really good fresh start - so no, I don't think you'll need to have seen it to get what it's all about - the bbc3 page in my link should give you the gist of it. Also, I suspect they would've reshown the pilot if they thought it was necessary. However, I see we belong to some of the same communities, so I'm sending you a link via email just in case, as the pilot is really quite charming....

Ah the joy of Janet Mcteer... I would watch her if she was in a washing machine!

(happy new year, by the way!)
