Like I said on Monday, it snowed a bit. Gritting had been done, thoroughly. Even these little back roads. Well done council.
Last night, it snowed more and settled. They did such a good job earlier in the week; now the salt's running low! The postman had to park on the main road and walk down the lane this morning.
It does look sooooo pretty

Oh, so that's why my local council didn't grit any roads at all. It was to save salt!

Or perhaps London hasn't got any cos it's all in Wiltshire! 8,500 tonnes is beyond what I can imagine.
